Our Starting Point
The Teporti Group was born from the entrepreneurial vision of the D’Ávila Family, marked by purpose, innovation, and a commitment to logistics development.
Acquisition of the first 27,000 m² area, the initial milestone in the group’s history and the beginning of the vision that would give rise to one of the most promising logistics hubs in Southern Brazil.
1997
Implementation of the first refrigerated container terminal (reefer) outside the public port, a pioneering move that expanded the sector’s operational possibilities.
1998
With the acquisition of 1,500,000 m², the group entered a new phase of growth, paving the way for large-scale projects and future logistics operations.
2000
Creation of Itazem Logística Portuária Ltda., dedicated to warehousing and exports, later accredited as a REDEX facility, strengthening the group’s presence in foreign trade.
2003
Inauguration of Teporti Terminal Portuário de Itajaí Ltda., established as a bonded facility in the primary customs zone for import, export, and cabotage operations, with its own quay and berthing infrastructure.
2008
Today, the Teporti Group continues to evolve consistently, with continuous investments in infrastructure, technology, and innovation. Each new project reinforces its commitment to efficiency, safety, and sustainable development, consolidating its position among the country’s leading logistics operators.
